About Staintondale & Ravenscar Show

The Staintondale, Ravenscar and District Show has been running for a total of 39 years with just a couple of short gaps, the most recent being during the pandemic of 20/21.  For the past 11 years it has been held at Ravenscar Village Hall and nearby fields on the 2nd Sunday in August.  The show has only 5 Sections: Horticulture & Agriculture; Produce & Preserves; Arts, Crafts & Photography; Vintage and Childrens.  Entries are submitted in advance and exhibits are placed and judged on the morning of the show.  As well as small monetary prizes, there are 25 trophies and rosettes to be won.  The show is open to the public from lunch time, during which time people can view all exhibits and enjoy a variety of other activities.  Refreshments are sold and there is a grand draw with fabulous prizes.

Get Involved!

In the weeks leading up to the show and during show weekend we are greatly in need of volunteers to help with all aspects of planning and running the show.  If you feel you could spare a few hours before or during the show please do contact us.
